Katrina donned a crimson Sabyasachi lehenga with delicate tilla work and velvet embroidered renaissance zardozi borders. Her veil was custom-trimmed with handcrafted Kiran in honor to the Vicky Kaushal’s Punjabi roots. The red tulle number was constructed by hand with Kiran in hand-beaten electroplated gold, which created the ornate border down the bottom.
Rahul Luthra specially designed the bride’s Kaleeras, which were manufactured by Mrinalini Chandra for her wedding. She wore 6-7 messenger doves in each of the bangles she wore before her red Chooda. Her Kaleeras had Bible verses inscribed on them as well. For their wedding, the couple exchanged Tiffany & Co. rings. Katrina chose a unique ring in a Sapphire hue with platinum to break up the monotony of basic solitaires and diamonds.
Vicky Kaushal gave her a Mangalsutra that was created by Sabyasachi and was a variant of the designer’s famed Bengal Tiger Mangalsutra. Sabyasachi’s dual Matha Patti in gold was also worn by the actress. Katrina wore an elaborate handmade necklace from Sabyasachi’s bridal jewellery collection to her intimate wedding. It was set with uncut diamonds in 22k gold and was adorned with hand-string pearls. Her gold Jhumka earrings, exquisite Nath, and Matha Patti looked great with her spectacular neckpiece.
Vicky Kaushal, on the other hand, looked dashing in Sabyasachi ivory silk sherwani with elaborate Marori embroidery, a silk kurta, and a silk churidar. His outfit included famous handmade gold-plated Bengal Tiger buttons from Sabyasachi. Vicky wore a tussar georgette shawl intricately embroidered with Zari Marori on Pallu and borders. The gold Benarasi silk tissue safa was paired with an 18k gold handcrafted Kilangi and statement necklace adorned with emeralds, brilliant cut and rose-cut diamonds, quartz, and tourmalines.
