A girl spends months deciding on her bridal lehenga for the wedding day. She imagines herself whirling, laughing, and shining with joy in that stunning Lehenga before her wedding. Gurleen Kaur, the perfect Punjabi bride chose everything very carefully in order to capture perfection in her wedding look. Within just 10 days, she selected all the attires for her wedding functions. Talking about Gurleen’s wedding look, she donned a Vintage Pakistani multi-hued wedding Lehenga with a customized Dupatta in a unique shade of coral and was looking exquisitely beautiful.
The flora and fauna have inspired the design of her stunning silk Lehenga from Asiana Couture. Exotic flowers and peacocks are enhancing the true beauty of her wedding ensemble. The sequins, gems, and stones adorn the choli. The elaborate embroidery on the dupatta elevates the design, making it suitable for her attire. It is embroidered with stones and sequins all the way down the length. She even draped the Dupatta in Pakistani style. Her attire is totally drool-worthy for this wedding season; All credit goes to the intricate designs and floral accents.
Well my whole wedding was planned in the span of 10 days LITERALLY! Covid kept postponing my wedding, we were getting sick of it, so we flew to India when we got the chance and got married! Yes just like that! The only planned part about my desi wedding was my outfits. I knew I wanted my outfits to be SPOT ON! I knew I wanted colours. I knew I wanted a balance between the modern bride and the vintage bride. So for my engagement look, I went with a very classic red monochrome lehenga from astha narang . However, I still wanted it to be unique in some way, so I got hand-painted copper roses on my dupatta! It was a dream. Gurleen
Gurleen contrasted the tone of her coral Dupatta with a subtle peach lip colour and eyes being kept day-ready with smudged black eyeliner. A combination of aesthetic accessories and braiding shows off the artistic skills of the hairstylist and also matches the bride’s playful wedding look. Her delicate, yet notable, jewellery is handcrafted with such uniqueness and attention to detail. We can’t get enough of Gurleen’s emerald, pearl, and other semi-precious stone-encrusted Passa. Everything is unquestionably pretty: a dainty choker necklace with pearl hangings, Chandbaali earrings, an elegantly crafted Passa, delicate Hathphool, custom Kaleeras, and a matching Nath.
For her engagement look, Gurleen donned a very classic red monochrome Lehenga from Astha Narang. It is embellished with delicate copper flower embroidery that contrasts well with the red hue of the fabric. This one must have turned heads with every twirl. She added delicacy to her look with a radiant ivory choker and fancy shoulder dusting dangler earrings adorned with pearl and Kundan. She had kept her hair middle-parted open. She finished the look with thick eyelashes, well-defined eyebrows, contoured cheeks with a copper blush tone, kohl-rimmed upper lash line, and a red lip tint.
The inspo for my sangeet/ Jaggo look was pakistani couture. Their colours and the embroidery reflect joy so I wanted a piece of that 🥹. Dupattas were always my main point of concern because in my opinion they make or break the look. So I got hand-embroidered phukari made to compliment my pakistani style shalwar kameez. My wedding lehenga was from Asiana couture. I was going for a vintage pakistani look. It couldn’t have been possible without getting my beautiful dupattas customised again in a unique shade of coral. Gurleen
The bride added drama to her Sangeet look by choosing a heavily-embroidered blue Salwar Suit and bright pink dupatta. The heavy dupatta matches the fresh blue ensemble perfectly. The intricate floral patches embroidered with silver and gold thread, zari, sequins, and beads give the ensemble just the right amount of shimmer. She accessorized her look with a simple gold choker and a huge Chandbaali Maang tikka. Her mirror-studded Paranda plays a vital role in amping up her magnificent Sangeet look. She balanced the shimmer of her attire with pinkish-nude makeup. There is just a tint of pink on her lips and a slight hint of blush on her cheeks.
